    • ok i have the new bearings i rented a torque wrench i have the washer the nut i have bearing grease the nut cover hopefully thats everything

              • Put in both wheel bearings and then followed directions of Haynes manual posted after putting in washer, nut

                  I'm just confused as to what is going on here!
                  When you assembled everything did the wheel turn freely with little effort, and no wobble?
                  Did you happen to take any pics that might help us.
                  Clearly something is wrong.
                  We need more detail than what you gave us to go on!

                  I'm thinking we need someone to drop by there and take a look.
                  Anybody in Jersey close to Vineland, NJ?

                      It was turning a little stiffly but bolt was not going on enough for cotter pin so last try tomorrow before i just take it to meinikee

                      • Seriously, Vineland, this is not quantum mechanics!
                        It shouldn't be this difficult.
                        You hunted down all the parts, you cleaned everything up, you got the new parts you needed.
                        The assembly is actually easier than all the other stuff you've already done!
                        Can you go over the instruction in the Hayness manual and if you don't think you understand something, ask us.

                        This tell me something wasn't seated somewhere.
                        I assume you removed the old races from the drum and put in the new races that came with the bearing?
                        The seal on the back of the drum, which you had to remove to replace bearings, when you put the new seal in was it level with the drum?

                              • Ok so new brake drum put inner bearings and seal behind it put on spindle put outer bearing in then washer then nut then torqued.took for ride on normal road was fine then highway it was fine so hopefully tomorrow all is correct and i will be fine
