  • Turn Signals/Hazards not working

So I replaced my cv axles and seals with a buddy and somehow along the way the "MAIN" fusible link wire got broken. I replaced all with the cartridge style fuses. I had no problems with the turn signals prior to the old fusible link breaking. They worked fine for about a week and then I noticed my turn signals wouldn't work sometimes. I figured out if I just wiggled the "MAIN" cartridge fuse, they would work and I would drive a few miles and I guess the vibrations made it work itself back out. Last night I took apart the fusible link box and cleaned all the corrosion off of the wires. It didn't make a difference at all. When I engage the turn signal you can hear the relay click once. Same thing for the hazards. So I am assuming it is still working? If anyone has any advice or tips, they would be much appreciated.

Check the fuse in the car in the fuse box marked "hazard". Maybe it's that simple.

Check for bad grounds too.. like everywhere on the 20+ yo vehicle. Have to remember circuits are +12V positive and -12V ground.

Have we considered the flasher module might be bad? It's a bi-metal thermal switch that wears out over time

The fuses were the first thing I checked. They are all good. Also checked a few grounds and they seemed fine. Ill check some more next. Is the flasher module the box that clicks under the dash? I thought that was just a relay.
