Looks like a new one runs about $80. Pretty sure that's what it is? Anyway to check the one on the car to see if that is what it is for sure? Thanks!

Just pulled the small line on the fpr. No fuel came out, indicating a good fpr. On to the next idea I guess.

You'll only know about rich fuel mixture when you fill up and calculate fuel economy. The pump in fact is supposed to run much of the time as the fuel system has a fuel return loop back to the gas tank. Humming pumps are common with the aftermarket jobs that have to be adapted to fit the mounting bracket and consequently don't have adequate vibration/sound damping. The Delphi version I had to jury-rig a couple of years ago worked fine but sounded like a hive of angry bees inside the car! I was only too happy to find an excuse to throw that out when the time came.

It's an '89 Fi. Would it be the same?

I did replace the vaf with a junkyard one but still getting the same code.

You know I'm not sure if it is the same,I just seen efi and figured that had to be it . I have never had an 89 efi auto so I'm unsure.

I also have no idea how "describing" was put in the title but ok, back to my go cart.
