Question about what I think is a clog in a/c line

What does everyone's a/c normally blow at temperature wise?

I misread the thermometer, mine is actually blowing around 50F, while the ambient temp is 80F. It was 90F yesteday and was blowing around 50c as well. As long as the car is moving.

I may look into adding a condenser fan, radiator fan just isn't cutting it.

Torque, like I said before, forget the fan, just install a shutoff valve in the hose between the intake and the heater core. No more hot coolant flowing into the blower housing. Just open it up for the winter.

I used a valve from a Toyota in my heater hose, and a push /pull cable ,mine is out for heat in for cold mounted cable pull on bottom of my dash.
I did install a condenser fan also .Both helped .
Now my old Festy been running 134A for 2 years no problems super cold ac .
When I redid my ac system I used all new green O-rings,flushed my lines and condenser with flush I got at Napa.
I got a new reciever/dryer,a new txv, and drained my compressor ,then I vacuumed it for 1 hour then let it sit for a few hours on the gauge. no loss of vacuum so I charged it up .

That looks like my valve.
My O-ring kit was from Napa,the cable I used came from Napa (I have account there so most of my stuff comes from them Unless I can get cheaper from Rock but shipping must be accounted for )

Oh that vac pump that uses air from HF is trash! I went to a pawn shop got a good robinair vac pump for $100.
I was going to sell the pump after use but Im queer for tools so . Be sure to change the pump oil tho after a few uses and keep it sealed up with caps when not in use.

Ran the a/c with the valve closed and got a decent improvement on temps. Now the a/c blows at around 45F while the car is moving at a decent, and constant speed.

Other than adding a condenser fan, I don't think this system could be improved on too much. I mean like it has been said, the a/c never worked amazing in these cars anyway, and heck a/c didn't work very well in allot of older cars anyway to be honest. My folk's 87 Tempo a/c stopped within' a couple years of the car being new.

How many people can say they have a 20+ year old car with working a/c?

So by routing the coolant around you got a 5 degree difference. Is it worth it?

It was also not tested at highway speed, I was only going about 45mph with those temps. To get anywhere near 50-55F before had to be at highway speeds.

Also I didn't route it anywhere, I just cut the hose going to the heatercore from the intake in half, and stuck the valve there.

I am actually surprised it made any difference to be honest.
