  • help with a festy

    we started looking at the motor today and dh now things that it needs a head gasket. we found antifreeze in intake is this a right assumtion?ty1 for the help.

    Check the intake manifold gasket, that has definitely failed if you have coolant in the intake. As far as i know, that is the ONLY way coolant can get into the intake because the coolant flows through the bottom portion of that manifold.

      you definetly don't want to pull off the head just to find out you need a manifold gasket
