Do yourself a favor and get a used Ford manual off of Ebay. Not a Haynes or Chiltons. I find it much easier to have a book handy when working on my car vs trying to use a PC, laptop, tablet etc. with my greasy hands. I suppose you could always print out the pages you need for the repair you are doing, but I leave mine in the car in case I break down.Rick

Why do you prefer Used over Haynes Manual?ScooterPookin

There is some useful info in the Haynes and Chilton, but for the most part, they're useless.Rick

I guess it depends on what you want to do. The Haynes manual has been good enough for me but then I'm not a mechanic and I don't race or rebuild my car. I just use it for transportation.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.
