Basically a cat back because they cut the cats out before putting them on the yard. Would try local junk yards or build your own.
Great luck you had there.... It's been at least a year since I've found any Festivas in any of our local yards.

Sorry about the double post..should have put everything in one post at the start.

I've bought at least 4 tail pipes and mufflers in the last few years.
I have a new pipe, hangers, gaskets, and muffler sitting in the garage now. I paid $150.30 last year for everything including shipping from RockAuto.

Just bolt the pipe on at the rear end of the cat and bolt the muffler on at the other end of the pipe, hook up the hangers and you are all set.
Takes at couple hours at most to remove and replace everything if you don't bother trying to replace the heat shields (which I usually don't).
If the studs break off at the rear of the cat, just drill (or burn) them out and replace with your own bolts. (need a tough drill bit for it though).
Used shop jack and jack stands to get the car high enough to crawl under.
I don't have to worry much about rust here so this works well for me.

I picked up the intermediate pipe (runs from muffler to catalytic converter) for $85 shipped new from e-bay and an exact replacement muffler from the bay for only $30!! I am going to pick up that test converter pipe for $40 and I will be in business for under $150

Oh I forgot, I have to get the gaskets and new hanger rubber things... Any suggestions? E-bay they want like $5 each for the rubber mount things. Rock Auto wants $20 shipping!! caught between cheap and expensive shipping and expensive and free shipping

            Don't need a "test pipe".
Just take a piece of re-rod and tap it thru the converter. All the crap will fall right out making a clean hole thru the middle.

The converter is worth a lot more to scrappers whole.

My system is broken off at the converter! I found the whole system for $115 shipped from e-bay.. I will find out Monday if that was a good deal or not. When it comes in I will see how good of a match and everything. It will certainly save a whole lot by coming as a complete system.

I got the intermediate pipe in. It has a resonator on it. I was hoping that it was going to be long enough to eliminate the catalytic converter, but upon questioning the seller, I am going to need the converter or figure out how to have a pipe with flanges made

If your old cat has broken flange studs:
When I once wrung off the stud on the back of rear cat flange, I clamped the intermediate pipe flange to the cat flange and tack welded the remaining piece of the stud to the intermediate pipe flange. It's still holding fine.

Measure the pipe.....buy new pipe slightly bigger and two band clamps. And enjoy selling the cat to a scrap yard

Update a month later. Finally warm enough to work on the car. Muffler and intermediate pipe were a success. However, the cat needs to be replaced and I need that flange for the front of the cat.. I guess it is going to be cheapest just to buy a new cat and bolt it up to the head pipe. I am literally 4 bolts and a cat short of 10 minutes work to be finished. My kid is going to kill me because her car cant be done until the new parts come in.

I do not have any access to welders or torches or any of that. I had to just buy the cat from Rock Auto since I needed the flanged end to the front. After I get it, I will have to see if the back end bolts directly to the intermediate pipe. If it does, yippee for me. If not, I have not ideas at this point. I am still hoping that the manifold pipe is ok. It looks kind of sketchy, but I tried taking the bolts off. They didn't budge, so I did not try that hard.

Why keep the cat?? We don't have emissions in Wisconsin.
