    I ran my interference Chrysler 2.0 sans-belt too. Ironically that engine killed itself by de-toothing the belt and hammering the valves, but that was a separate issue, amazingly.

    If I were rallying a car, I'd consider a cover. Otherwise if it comes off for any reason it stays off on a car I own. Interference or not.
    Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
