Hey guys,
I got my girlfriend's Festiva to pass emissions finally. I am still having a drivability problem though. For example: I'm driving down the road doing say 35mph and have my foot steady on the gas pedal. Suddenly it feels like I have totally taken my foot off the pedal and I start to slow down(my foot is still in the same spot) and then, after a few seconds it starts going again. Im stumped. I've installed a new catalytic converter, fuel pressure regulator, coil, cap, rotor, and plug wires. These are all BRAND new items on the Festiva Motorsport engine that I just installed. So.. pretty much everything is new in the engine bay hehehe. It also has a brand new fuel pump, fuel filter, gas tank, and professionally service injectors. I've switched out the air meter, had the ignition control module tested, and checked my vacuum connections. In addition to this problem, does anyone know what is bolted to the lower intake on the right hand side, with the vacuum connections going to the intake and it also runs coolant through it as well?
