The b3 that was swapped into my Festiva before I bought it was a carby, they just swapped all the efi stuff from the original blown motor over to the carb motor, except they spliced in a plug to use the carb alternator on the efi harness.

Until zoom zoom here dropped the B6 in, and spliced the original efi plug back in. Also at the same time, my headlight circuit parasitic draw was gone, but that was probably just a ground issue that just fixed itself during the swap.

So yes, carb alts can work on efi, and vice versa.
