Is there anyone near you with a carbed festiva? That you could take yours and go visit them, compare everything. Maybe yours is missing a hose, linkage or some important piece

My buddy said the choke keeps cutting me out of the back barrel. So we made it stay open and now ot doesnt spit and spudder then cut out but i am still at below half power

The front barrel on the car wont open or dump any fuel unless i open throttle to wide open and then am able to push linkage open for front barrel. I cant do this while the cae is running bc it would be way past redline to get that barrel open.

Anyone have a dang carbed festiva?

If you upload the video to a file hosting site like tinypic or something and then put the url here it should work.
Wish i could help you more but i know next to nothing about carberaters...

I dont understand why no one will mess with this damn car. I am losing so much money everyday and i can find no info what so ever on the car.

One advantage to owning one of these is the ease of working on these yourself. It would seem if you are convinced it is the carb that somewhere near you a yard would have a carb off a good runner. That carb should be a lot less than next weeks fuel bill or a shop...

You can switch to an escort or weber carb for way less than that...
