heater hoses conection on festiva 89

I have a problem resen buy a festiva and have not heater core hoses and i dont find the manual . Please help me. Sorry for my bad inglish

You want to hook up the heater core in Mexico?
Just bypass with a piece of hose.

The heater core is instaled. But is not conected in radiator.

puerto del lado del pasajero entra en la ingesta en la parte inferior .
DriverSide puerto debe envolver encima de la transmisión en torno a la parte inferior delantera del motor

If the heater core is still in the car but disconnected and by passed it is likely already leaking- you may have to get a new one installed. Tip- run heavier concentration of coolant to avoid heater core rusting and failure. I always run 100 percent straight coolant- and never had a problem. nunca.

Heater cores often rust faster when a water pump leaks and people keep putting water in, instead of expensive coolant

The hoses themselves aren't long- 25-30 cm, and "S" shaped. Dos similar. One attaches to a long silver tube- both attach para the firewall -
under the thottle body and ademas de los injectores.

You dont want to run 100% coolant in a hot country. Much less ability to remove heat. Hot spots can/will occur. Although that doesnt seem to affect festivas as much as other cars.
Hoses were most likely connected because of a leaking heater core like you said but could also be that the PO didnt want any heat at all in the cabin.

The cores are steel? Thought they were brass?

Head > core> block I believe?


And people need to run distilled water with coolant. Tap water with coolant is just circles for rust prevention.

Este hose in photoshop es Air Conditioning fitting- cuidado! no es heater inlet- estos es dos connexiones en firewall a detras? -behind- el throttle body- mas derecho 30 cm mas o menos. No es visible en estos photos.

El fitting laton es possible pintar- no es seguro. Dos fittings laton de heater core es 5 o 6 cm en separatcion, mas o menos, de yo recuerdo..

Los otro fittings - a la radiator y la engine block acerca de heater core inlet y outlet approximo 30 cm para S -shape hoses, y estos es de tapon ahora. Mira los conexionnes tapon en lado el engine block.

Lo siento- estos connexiones para radiator y engine block es connected para un manquera-hose- ahora, por a "by-pass" el core de heater.
Mirar por este hose, y los dos heater core manqueran connectar alli y a los conexeones de firewall. Pero no reverse. Possible arrow :ia:para idicar este drrecion.
