Timothy, if you budget allows, try to get moog suspension parts. I've had much better luck with them than the cheaper brands.Jerry

I'm ordering strut mounts and everyone that offers them offers them with a bearing. From what I was reading in this thread the advantage of going with the Rio strut was getting the bearings.
So why isn't everyone just ordering the Festiva strut mount when it comes with the bearing?

Never seen a Festiva mount with a ball bearing, all I've seen have a friction type disc. That doesn't look like a ball bearing in the pict, looks like the friction disc to me. The ball bearing is in the Rio mounts.Last edited by Team Lightning; 12-28-2016, 08:16 PM.Jerry

Got all my parts and I'm doing the install right now. I went with the most economical choices for parts. I bought $16 strut mounts at Orielys. I'm confused because things are fitting properly. The bearing is supposed to mount into the top hat , but this part is not fitting because the bearing it came with is too large.
I'm getting frustrated and want to put my car back together. Can I just nix the bearing and go buy a couple of large washers?IMG_0390.jpgLast edited by Timothy; 12-30-2016, 01:21 PM.1992 Ford Festiva 1.3 L 4-cylinder
