Is it possible to use a blank spot in the fuse box to add a new circuit? Im adding a sub and would like to put it on its own 15 amp circuit. Thanks for any help.

It is possible, but 15A isn't much for an amp. If you do decide that route, 25A and then put a capacitor in line right before the amp. And use at least 10gaw wire. You should also replace the fuseable links with PAL fuses if you haven't already done so.Trees aren't kind to me...

Thanks, that may work. I'm installing a Kicker Hideaway powered sub under the passenger seat. It has a 10 amp fuse on the back of the unit & includes a 15 amp fuse link to attach to the battery for the power.
Instead of going through the firewall to the battery I had the idea to use a blank fuse spot for the main power. Seemed simple enough until I got the fuse box out and tried to make the connection.

I added separate 30A circuits for power windows and power locks. Go ahead and add. Since I couldn't find identical open barrel fuse terminals anywhere, I recycled a couple from another fuse block. They are only a couple of bucks at a junk yard. It's easy to cut open the plastic to get at the terminals. I even got the fuses from the junk yard.Last edited by bravekozak; 02-05-2017, 06:16 PM.

It took me less than 30 seconds to find thread 56588 using the search engine. Try it sometime. It's located at the top right of every screen. I get all of my fuses and light bulbs at the junk yard, including PAL fuses.Last edited by bravekozak; 02-06-2017, 06:47 AM.
