  • Rear hatch loose brackets

There are 2 pieces of metal in my back hatch that are attached to the innner skin but not the outer. Looks like they just flap around. What are they for and should i double-side tape them to the outer skin so they dont rattle? This photo is with the hatch open.

I'm not sure what they would be for but if it were mine I would put something under it so it didn't rattle.

Don't see those on my car. Wedge a piece of cardboard or something into the gap and maybe tape it in place.

Huh, ok. I will just use thick double sided tape to hold them down.
