Does towing behind a camper rack up the odometer?

I would have ramped it up earlier but my dads using the ramps to try and reach the spark plugs on the underside of the V6 in the Aztec we drive to his appointments each day. One of them is missing occasionally but fixes itself if the car is parked and shut off then turned back on. It's got other electrical issues, so I wonder if they're all related? I don't know, no idea about electrical stuff lol

Just keep it in first and chalk the wheels with something, rock, block off wood , whatever you got.
And yes you can put front or rear up on the ramps.

Ramps are real nice if you dont have to remove wheels. Blocking it like he said is safe.

Ok next time I have it jacked up, I will take more photos of underneath. I don't have any pavement at my house to park on or I could take better photos now, there's too much grass in the way where I live [emoji14] thank you everyone!

With ramps or jacks and jackstands you need to have something real solid underneath. Ive had ramps, jacks and jackstands sink into the ground and let the vehicle fall off to the side. Its not safe to do on grass and a sissor jack isnt safe on gravel.

Yep. I think what I'll need to replace is the shocks, struts; I think the bearings are all fine it seems. What else under the car should I check for replacing, rust wise?

I'll be rolling it up on the ramp jacks soon for better photos, but my dad cleared it to drive despite how rusty things LOOK they are still solid enough for now. But yeah I want it all replaced if it's rusting out underneath. Gonna be fun finding out what I really need to replace lol

With the photos you posted you cant tell how rusty the rear beam mount is. I once stuck my head under a festiva to check it and missed the rust until i had it jacked up and was laying underneath. The particular spots the william mentioned are the only safety concerns. Everthing else is just cosmetic.

My dad used the hitch to pull our lightweight trailer around his yard and move light stuff, it's pretty solid, I have no idea why it was put there :p but I would use it with a lightweight pull

I'd inspect the brake lines.
Once rust perforates and they leak you don't have brakes.
