Not that it's relevant anymore, but a Cylinder Drop Test is when you kill individual cylinders, by pulling a plug wire, injector, etc... and noting Idle speed and condition with that cylinder shut off. Very useful way of narrowing down the hunt.

I agree, pull it out together from the bottom
