  • changing timing belt

i'm trying to change my timing belt but i have difficulty to take out the crank pulley. I unscrew the four bolt and the big bolt in the middle . I try too pry it but it only comes out about half an inch but not completly. i'm able to shake it easily with my hand. Wath could i do to remove that pulley.

What year? The 93 pulleys are different. There are 2 little phillips screws along with the 4 6mm screws that need to be removed depending on what year you have.

crank pulleys can sometimes get hung up on the end of the little key/tooth thing that is used to ensure that everything lines up properly. If your positive you have all the screws out, just get a screwdriver in behind it and tap it with a rubber mallet and it should come loose if the only thing its stuck on is that little key thing
      No festiva for me ATM...

            all right now

It is a 1992 and yes there were two Phillips screw that I didn't see without flash light. Now the new timing belt is on and my car is running good.

            * I had to remove the big bolt in the middle
