    pcv valve i think mine is missing or something because i cant find it... any one know where exactly it is and where it plugs into? a pic of it would be great as well any help here would be great.. and sorry for all of the stupid questions.

      ahh the the little black plug with the yellow hose connected to it.. ya know i didnt think that was it.. yep im an idiot...

        so would this casue any flooding and how do you tell if it is bad?

          im not sure it would cause flooding but if you pull it out while the car is running there should be a pretty good suction on the opening.

              And if it doesn't rattle, take it off the car and use carb or brake cleaner and fill the valve up, and then put it in a small jar of the same cleaner and let it soak over night! Haven't had to buy one yet! Not certain if I could get one for the festiva at any of the Mc parts stores,I've never asked!
              But, if you have to get a new one, it shouldn't be too expensive!

                well ill try that.. but its not for the festiva its for the b6t motor.

                    I bought one for my metro and it set me back $5. you can tell its really bad when your air filter is covered in oil.
