simplest solution? put the carbed festy alt on the aspire engine. the serp pulley should fit. i remember doing this a few years ago eith an 88gl i had. sad story.... got totalled.... power mir, a/c, cass, underseat tray, the works....

Actually, that brings up a question. Is the output of the Aspire alternator higher than that of the Festiva's?

yes. 50 or 60 amp I think. Carbed Festy is 45
