weird noise , kinda like a loose bolt rattling around ?

while my car is idling i can hear a weird sound , kida like a bolt rattiling around somewhere. i tried to pinpoint the noise and it sounds like its coming from the starter or somewhere in that area. ill go listen to it some more , but its hard to tell where it is.

well , just checked it over somemore. if i press in the clutch , it stops. as soon as i let off the clutch , it rattles again. anybody ever had this problem ? im trying to find a loose bolt or something

there is no heat shield. sound goes away once clutch is pressed. im stumped.

It could be a throw out bearing .

And it could be a bearing inside of the trans.

When you push the clutch in , you are stopping the power input to the trans , all the movement stops , when you depress the clutch .

How does it sound when you drive ?

When you drive it , is the noise still there , and will it go away when you push the clutch in , while the car is still rolling at slow speeds .

yea i think the cable might be loose also. ill check for how it sounds while m,oving tommorro. thanks

mine makes that same sound, im pretty confident its the throwout bearing on my vehicle
