All the black stuff is whats left of the organic material from the clutch
Pressure plate ate the rivets :-)
Notice the heat distortion in the center of the clutch!
This is the side that was against the flywheel luckily the damaged side was on the pressure plate.
AND THIS IS WHAT IS REPLACING IT, IT CAME TODAY.

that new clutch should work pretty good, glad to hear you don't need to replace the tranny,
but it is kinda weird hearing someone being happy that the clutch went lol
