cold idle, not working

what happens is that when i start my car, i have to keep my foot on the pedal till i shift a few times down the road and she warms up, im getting it checked out today, we'll see what my buddy says.

so it wants to go dead, have u taken notice of the butterfly, when u press the gas on cold start up it should be closed (very little gap and some tension) now watch to see if it opens a small bit when u start it,,,i know its hard doing this alone so get someone to crack it if possible, thats another reason it took me so long to do mine...there is a bendable tab to hold the butterfly more open or closed that i messed with too, pic on page 4-10 in haynes manual (i got a manual from auto zone for one cent, may want to go see if they are still on sale) , let me know what the butterfly does on yours.....

vibration at idle

Hi to everyone,

I'm glad i found this forum, I 'm new to this kind of car stuff and i bought my first car last year (kia pride lx 94 model). Here it is my mechanic told me that the transmission mounts of my car has cracked and need to be replace, so i bought new transmission mount and replaced the old ones. I noticed that since the replacement of the transmission mounts my car vibrates during idle specially when my A/C is on. Could somebody tell me if there is someting to do with the transmission mount? And I'm guessing that the rubber of the replacement that we installed is hard. Is there a work around to soften the rubber of the new transmission mount?
