A half lap into the feature race at Clinton County Raceway, the 46 Festiva ended up looking like this:

The driver who is my son was not seriously injured, but he felt like a guy that had played 4 quarters of full contact football without any padding.

oooo that's really too bad. Definitely good to hear your son isn't injured badly. I can't watch the video until you have it up on YouTube, but seeing the car says a fair bit.

Not trying to make undue light of the situation, but I have always wondered how a fastback Festiva would look.

That really sucks. Looks like he got hit in the side and the back corner. It all happened really fast and there was no time to be prepared. Looks like alot of fun to race there. Are you guy going to rebuild and continue to race festivas?

Looks like alot of fun to race there. Are you guys going to rebuild and continue to race festivas?

We already have a new car built. He finished 5th last week with no brakes. The proportioning valve started leaking shortly after starting the race.
