this is a very easy way to stop a car. However, when only one tire falls off as it did on my finacee's yukon, it didnt stop so well

this is why you use hubcentric rings and hand torque your lugnuts to the NUT specifications, not the car's (unless they coinside)

thats why they do a pit inspection before u change to your tires not after..... we had a guy in a mx3 last year who changed his tires after the inspection and forgot to torque his lugs and one came off and hit my buddy in the leg lol lucally we caught it before anybody got hurt. and i was riding with my friend in his festy after we did an aspire swap and he never tightend his lugs on the driver side and when we hit 45 mph the driver wheel and tire shot off and went about 1000ft bouncing down the hill and alomost took out a m3 beamer lol i fetched the tire and found the lugnuts and had him lift up the car from the fender and i put the lugs back on ( with half of the rotor gone) and he drove it for 3 months on half a rotor lol
