If we took everybody on FF.com with their mad skills and locked them in a shop with all their tools and a Festiva the end result would be AWESOME!!!

We need someone to finance a 100,000sq ft shop full of all the goodies one could ask for just for forum members to build Festivas. Where's our Warren Buffett!

Great video. It must be a labor of love. There is no way you are making much profit on making those.

Enjoyed the video showing those foundry and machine shop skills.

I had two older brother who did that kind of work. One worked for a small company that created plastic injection molds out of beryllium copper. In addition to melting and pouring the beryllium copper, he did custom patter carving.

Anyone on the forum possess the know how and tools needed to create some titanium valves and
beryllium copper valves seats to go in those B6 turbos?

Whenever I machine aluminum, I use a shopmade flywheel cutter with a single carbide.
                        The cutting pattern more directional.
I knew a machinist who swore by mineral spirits for aluminum.
                        Too stinky.
I prefer water based cutting fluids or nothing at all if it's just a shallow cut.
