94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

Enjoyed the video showing those foundry and machine shop skills.
I had two older brother who did that kind of work. One worked for a small company that created plastic injection molds out of beryllium copper. In addition to melting and pouring the beryllium copper, he did custom patter carving.
Anyone on the forum possess the know how and tools needed to create some titanium valves and

Whenever I machine aluminum, I use a shopmade flywheel cutter with a single carbide.
The cutting pattern more directional.
I knew a machinist who swore by mineral spirits for aluminum.
Too stinky.
I prefer water based cutting fluids or nothing at all if it's just a shallow cut.Last edited by bravekozak; 03-12-2017, 08:30 PM.
