Gimmick plugs are just that, Gimmicks!!

Just use a good copper core plug.

^^^I could not agree more with Festy-boy and Gauddawg.

I'm a Champion man first...autolite second....I prefer the plating and washer....change them at the right frequency and you'll spent less money in the long term and always have good performance.

Think about this...if the platinum was incorporated in any significant/functional amount....the would be out of $$$ reach. Platinum cost more than gold.
If I have to change pain in the butt plugs where the time between changes is less frequent....I'll use factory OEM plugs from the dealership.

Your right the platinum is such a thin layer that if you use a regular gaping tool you will probably scratch it of anyway.

I've lost most respect for the bosch single, +2, +4 plugs that are sold in auto parts stores. I've seen too many fail. I use and push NGK v-power or NGK coppers. If those aren't available I go with autolite.

Hehe, I had a metro that used to foul the #3 plug about once a week of delivery, do you know how bad a 3 cylinder runs on 2? Answer, it doesn't really !

wow, those plugs are worn, look alot like mine. i didnt check if mine were the OEM before i replaced them, but they looked so old that they had to be atleast 10 years or more
