What's with the wing? Im sorry, but, WHY would you do that to a festiva, or any car for that matter? and even if you could get up the speed for some downforce (150mph or so) the 1/4" sheetmetal screws that hold it on the roof would let loose. also , rear downforce --- FWD whats the point. If It's worth doin' It's worth Overdoin'

I still wanna put a sharkfin on my roof. Increased lateral stability and a higher spot to mount my aerial communications array.
Did I mention my "barrage balloon" project? Now I need to source some hydrogen to fill that up, along with my tires and few other empty spaces in the car. I figure I can get about a 200 to 400 pound weight savings by going "lighter than air."
Stay tuned for "Hindenburgstiva."

I'm gonna see if I can streamline a large bladder to mount on the roof and fill with hydrogen.
I'll fill the tires with hydrogen.
Some extra smaller bladders inside the car will be filled with it as well.
Seats will be air mattress type...filled with...you guessed it! "1H"
I'll replace the hood with a big old air mattress filled with hydrogen.
I wonder if carrying around 100 cubic feet or more of hydrogen will affect my insurance?
I AM a nonsmoker!

Cubstiva1, The idea of wider taillights is cool. I don't like the double width look, but maybe some other cars lights would work.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD
