I found a 93 Swift GT at a JY today, runs fine, in OK shape, needs a little here and there....

with the right money, it could be a semi-Cultus clone... mmmmmmmm

I can get it for $400 I think...

^ snatch it. Those are fun cars. You could even pick up a dead metro and just swap the drive train. That would take of the "here and there" stuff. Sleeper FTW!

Buy it!!! Don't even waste time hesitating about it!!! It's the best car I've ever had! Watch out for worn synchros though...My 1989 GTi went through 3 transmissions; the last time I lost 2nd gear (though it still worked downshifting from 3rd to 2nd) and the 5th would sometimes pop out...
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

I just found out the Swift was owned by an old lady, she drove over a parking sign and dented the oil pan, the guy is pretty sure it is just dented out and rubbing on the harmonic balancer, or bottom pulley, and that nothing is really wrong with the car. These guys are LAZY and won't even lift a finger to save a car, they just crush them... so, I told them to hold that one, and the two festys for me, that I would take them.. if nothing else, the Swift will part out for a lot more than I can buy it for.. even just the rear spoiler is worth 50-100 on Ebay... lol...
