  • Got # 9 home

We've had snow on the ground for the last month. So today was the first chance to go get # 9. Yuck, three miles off the pavement on a dirt road to get it. What a mess after the snow melt. Any way the newbie is out mingling with the other festivas. I rented a car dolly this time. $35 for four hours. I loved it ! much easier than hauling the dual axle trailer. Probably saved $20 in gas and it pulls much easier. The guy I bought it from said his mechanic told him he needed some small pieces under the dist. cap. Ill post a pic soon to see if any one wants to sell me one. My first four speed carb. 126,000 miles on it with working a/c. The guy said it ran great. $175.00 plus gas and car dolly rental so around $250 as it sits.

The body is pretty straight with the exception of the driverside frt fender. It just so happens that I have an extra one.

Congrats on the new Festy! Can't wait too see what it looks like once you clean it up. Throw on a red hockey stripe and it will be a twin to mine, right down to the 4 speed and working A/C.
