The girl that use to cut my hair ( my image consultant ) bought a little self contained hot dog cart like the one below for around $2500. She took it to some events like fall pumpkins or apple fests, carnivals, auctions, etc. She said she was able to pay for it after one season of part time use.

We could use a cart like that for mobile Festiva meets! Think about it, anywhere, anytime!

I would just make the little trailer like the one pictured then line the inside with some steel and mount a grill on top and a cover and have a Festiva-que. Ive seen it done with other types of cars.

I was typing wile packrat was posting

what do you think a completely gutted festy weighs, without the front fender and engine area, like in the first couple pics? i'm still thinking about doing it, and if i replaced some of all of the glass with a light weight aluminum, that might cut down on some lbs. i would also replace the rear axle with a trailer axle to have trailer breaks.

A couple of people did those to MR2s, they looked really good. Lemme find a pic and I'll post it up.

I had an idea to make a trailer for cooler and chairs and Weber Gold. I was thinking of cutting at the doors but angling forward to a point on roof and floorpan. Beef up the floor with 2x2 tubing and have only enough tubing beyond point of pan to attach coupler.Front of trailer would be compound angled (tapered in and longer at base). Very aerodynamic and provide a little more space. I know nothing about making computer pictures so this design is just in my head. I already have a 93 shell so if my neighbors stay off my back I may get to see it through.
