If i put the BP into my 90L and leave it Auto for a few weeks will i run into any problems as far as bolting tranny to engine and making it work? or will it bold up and work?
blue flake 89L shaved hatch, Lowered, BP swap in progress, bobtail bumper, 5spd tranny, acura 5 spoke 15" wheels and fiberglass dash
How much metal has to be cut to fit a BP in? Or direct boltin without change of engine mounts, or moving of other bits and pieces?
depends on how you do it, no matter what you'll need to make at least 1 mount, since i upgraded the tranny and made all 3 mounts i manged to located everything so i didn't have to cut the firewall, if you mount the BP onto the stock tranny the BP will sit further back and you'll need to cut the firewall
93 FordFestiva93 - the BP should still bolt to the auto stock tranny
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
o i have a feeling there will be alot of PM's going in every direction lol i feel confident, but i feel shakey about tearing about my daily driver, but its somthing i NEED to do, i have been waitingtoo long to have a "cool" festiva

The auto and manual trans cars use different side motor mounts. If you do the swap with an auto you might have to redo the mount when you switch to a 5 speed.
I would not recommend putting a BP05 on a B3 tranny. If you drive like it do the tranny will be dead or you'll be needing a new clutch in two months. Do it right in the first place.
Here's my ugly, edit BP01... technically still a BP lol...
