  • My Newest Festiva Addition

This is the 1990 L Plus that I just picked up after spying it while turning around on a deadend. Has 80,000 miles and is originally from Texas.....unfortunately, that means no good ol' Iowa rust! Had to replace the fuel pump and it started in less than one second after sitting since last November. Btw,my buddy says that I gotta call this one Maude. So, ff.com family, I introduce you to Maude!

p.s I would like to thank my lovely gf for letting me have another damn Festiva as she says! Thank you Laura!....and for the use of your very spacious 1 car garage I call the Festiva Funny Factory!

A few pics of the Festiva Funny Factory! Not too bad for a 1 car garage, huh?

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

              Hey Fresh,

To determine once in for all, how do I tell if mine is an L Plus? Has tach, a/c, and upholstery on upper door(if that means anything).

You don't need to buy another one. I'm not catching up....yet. I deleted from my signature and am about scrap the former turbo car, so I'm still at 4.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I really wanted an original, really nice Festiva, something with no rust, which is very hard to find in the winter salt mine known as Iowa.

Once again, law of averages proves its' self worth. Levistiva and Maude were both bought after knocking on some doors. Most people say no, but eventually, you knock on enough doors, somebody will say yes!

Maude won't be heading to Ohiostiva, Levistiva has already made hotel reservations.... and she's driving! But next Meet, Maude will walk down the runway in her new red dress and high heel alloys!

Looks like a L plus. Black roof pillars. I need some interior pics to be sure. If it has factory air is will also have factory tinted glass. Take a white piece of paper out and hold it against the glass , youll know. Congrats again,,,,very nice ! All you need now is a festiva L Plus decal with factory font. I wonder who might have one on those ????

I know I do Roger. Did you see the blank pegboard and section of wall on the right side? There is obviously just a little too much room for me to breath in there. I'm trying to make sure that when one of the "girls" is in there, I have about six inches of space to move my lard butt around in. I love that pure freedom of being able to hit, knock and bump every part of my body when I do even the simplist task in that little flippin' garage....but it is better than doing things outside in the rain and snow!

On a serious note, I did design it so that when I drive a car straight in, everything is pushed back closer to the walls, away from the front of the car, giving me a pretty nice work space. The pegboard on the front right will be for my primary tools. My secondary tools will be on the pegboard to the right as you enter the garage, above the work bench.

Knock out the dining room wall and enlarge the garage. You can always eat in the garage.
