This is Iowa and getting that car was an absolute fluke. We have winter, snow, and twice as much salt.....everything is rusty. Levistiva doesn't have any rocker panels...well, she likes to say she's wearing a mini-skirt, but whatever. Her hatch is toast. I replaced her left fender today because it was rusted out and I replaced her driver's door because someone stretched the metal outwards up at the window. And she's only got 115,ooo miles. I just have taken the Freshtiva route and named her my winter car. Will drive her until I get Maude gussied up.
I'm always looking and running across some now and again. Saw 3 the other day. Bought one, saw a duplicate whitey that the guy wants the halfshafts and exhaust off of mine, and a silver one with a rusted out subframe. Some parts on her, but not much for body parts or interior.
Did see another white and a red, but I was in the process of pulling the white one, went right back and both were gone. Saw a red one last night and left my number. Other than alloy wheels and a fender, not much there either.
I'm done buying junk project cars. Lest their be a super deal that I can turn around and sell the car cheap. I'm trying to find the awesome car for a song like Feshtiva gets, but i don't have the magic. Well, with Maude I had my moment, I guess.
I know where my dream Black LX is, but the guy won't come off of it ....yet!ENFORCER - Midwest Festiva Inc., Iowa

factory tinted glass
I have never seen a Festiva with factory tinted glass before. Is it that dark? What does the white paper behind the glass test show? That there is no wrinkles if it was a film that was applied? I would buy factory tinted glass if it was available. Does anyone have part numbers?

very nice find
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Now you have. Ive got four sets.
Festiva glass w/o factory tint.
If they came with factory A/C they had factory tinted glass.Last edited by freshtiva; 03-24-2009, 01:44 AM.sigpic
