I used to have body color bumpers on my car as well. I wanted more contrast and got a set of gray ones at the jy.
Solid color is best ( no metallics) because of travel problems only if the bumper ears contact the body before the wheel well. Not a problem with Festivas.
White is wonderful.

I wonder what SSS stands for anyway?

After a little googling, it appears that "SSS" (Super Sport Sedan) comes from the early days of Datsun (Nissan). Check out the following links
