Oh I couldnt deface freshtivas original stockness. I would like to ride in a festy with this engine in it sometime. Who knows if something were to happen to the escort I might try the swap. Ive got a brother who can fabricate anything.

        Glad you got it running!!!!

It's pretty quick, no? I know I was surprised!

NOTHING like my new Grand Prix though! lol.

        Wish I still had it.

Oh and I'm curious as to what 'BP' stands for/is... I'm seeing it everywhere here and can't seem to figure it out!

BP is just an engine designation for a Mazda motor typically found in 91-96 Ford Escort GTs. The original posting that had all the B series engine desigantions is gone per the original posters request. But if you would like it Im quite sure there are more than a couple here that saved it for future use including your truly.

Welcome to the site BTW. Do us all a favor and go into your UserCP and include your location. That info can be more handy than you know.

Fresh I can totally see keeping the GT intact. I can also toatally see keeping Freshtiva in all it's original durable glory. And even keeping several of yours stock. But man having 14 (or howevever many it is now) and not having one with a BP or a B6t seems like your shortchanging yourself. Go get a donor!!
