  • ATL Meet Photos

The first ATL Festiva Meet was held today at Stone Mountain Park...turnout was only slightly lighter than expected, but a fine time was had by all. Unfortunately, Big Wheel's Festy "Hot Rod" was unable to make the trip, but he brought some nice photos.

    Kinda patriotic! (L-R...Pizza Rocket, The Baron & Carribean Taxi.....that's Big Wheel's super-nice F150 behind))

We ended up having an improptu "Cleanest engine bay contest"....there were three entries. If it weren't for my new valve cover paint job and a new alternator, I'd have finished fourth!

    Htchbk's

    Sparky's

    Boatdrinks' (Winner!)

Here's the four of us (L-R...Htchbk, Sparky, Big Wheel & Boatdrinks)

All photography in this post is the work of my lovely wife Michelle...funny story: When we pulled in, Boatdrinks was already there...I opened the door, shook his hand and introduced him to the Baron, then to Michelle! Thank God 21 years of being married to a lunkhead gave her a sense of humor!

^^^ I second both those statements sparky, there will be another "Rocktiva" as I have unofficially dubbed what happened today And we could not have picked a nicer weekend for it! If my bike was running I would've said "forget the festie, I'm riding the maggie to the rock" lol. Oh and here's one more shot of the cars from my camera phone

Dang. I have been sick all day and woke up around one in the afternoon. I would have tried to rumble on over there if I woke up in the A.M. lol.

Looks like you guys had a good time. I will try to be there next time.

Good show guys! All it takes is a couple of Festiva and Aspire owners and some advance notice to get a meet together.

                    Nice Pics......GREAT FOLKS

Great to have met the attendees of this event. Will def. do another. Thanks to Michelle for taking pics. Sorry I had to bail early, needed to spend time with the wife and get ready for work week. Talking to Joseph has helped to light a fire under me to finish Aspire swap on rear. The taxi did just fine for needing an alignment still. We certainly had the weather on our side.
