If he hadn't made any claims about a 325 swap it would be fine. Whoever built that car put a lot of work into it, and while I might not agree with their tastes I do respect that. Instead he claims he put a complete 325 in it, provides no proof, and calls us all pompous for demanding proof. It's not like we're asking him to jump over the moon, a simple 5 minutes with a digital camera would suffice.

The simple fact is that he doesn't have that engine installed. The engine/transmission are long enough they would require moving the firewall and seats back nearly a foot. You can see in the picture they aren't. The engine is tall enough that it wouldn't fit under the hood with the car that low to the ground. If it's got a complete 325, why doesn't it have rear discs? If you're going through all the trouble of fabricating that, why not center the rear wheels in the arches instead of letting them run back like any other lowered festiva?

Either this is his car and he thinks we're all stupid, or it's someone who found pictures of a festiva and decided to troll us.

treetrun, prove me wrong and I'll stencil "I'm a stupid jerk" on my helmet.

how about we see some pics even if it doesn't have the engine it's still got to be a nice car considering how much work is on the outside... also the visor isn't really a great idea cause of wind and all....

For real. Forget the engine, I want to see more pics.

Well, whatever is under the hood, a lot of work definitely went into the car. Other than the front visor, I'm liking what I'm seeing. No need to come in blowing smoke tho. I'll tell you straight up, my Festiva is an 88L, hasn't been driven in about two years, sitting on three tires and a block, with most of the interior sitting at FB71's place. So, it's not like I'm going to bust on someone else's car. I like the look of the car, except for the visor thing, and it, like all cars should be black. But you gotta know if you come on here talking about all the car has, you're going to be asked to prove it. Just my $.02

BTW, Bustiva, you're car is awesome.
