  • 1989 Festiva L Build Thread

My parents gave me the 89' L so this is my new ride..

    Some of my Festiva parts

All these parts are going onto the 89'

Got the new taillights on it

Goodbye old front end.. time for a facelift

Some better under-the-headlight trim to replace the rusty and dented up ones

Some nicer corner lights and turns

    Old junk that got replaced..

    The new look

I remember you having a fit about driving an automatic car before. Why the switch? What is wrong with the L plus?

maybe your parents keep switching you cars just so you'll get them all fixed up and looking good

                1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
                1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Parents up and gave me this one.. and I'm happy with it, it's in decent shape, runs good, and has some new parts on it.. The L+ needs alot of work before it will be driveable.. and I can't waste my whole summer putting it together.. I need to get a job and other stuff..
