  • Abandoned car photo thread!

I thought it would be cool if we could share our pictures of cars we've come across that are just sitting there unused, abandoned and forgotten.
    One simple guideline:

*Your own car doesn't count! LOL.

    I'll start:

If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

Nice idea. This thread could get really interesting by the end of the month. Gotta remember to take the camera with me today.

What is that a 52-53 Mercury wagon?

I know I could be a lot of help to this thread. There are a lot of old cars around here just sitting.

I wasn't sure, so I looked it up. Seems it's a '54. Worth alot of $ even in it's present condition.

Yeah, I drove by one day and saw that Honda sitting there, so the next day I went up into the property and snooped around. The car is so sad; the roof is caved in, plants are growing inside, etc. My brother has a 600z in pristine shape - he just won an award with it at a car show.

I'll have to load the pictures of a local farm - he has about 50 cars just sitting rotting and doesnt want to let go of a single one

Ok, 11 months 17 days is way too long between posts! Let's see more pics of those old cars out there!

Here is one I came across today. There is an old junkyard nearby, and many years ago, they were ordered to clear the woods across the street of all the cars. I remember when they cleared it out. It was a shame, lots of old cars got crushed, including Tri-5 Chevy's, some Packards, and even 2 Divco milk trucks!

Anyway, It seems they missed one! This car has been sitting there for about 30 years (or more). Mother nature is slowly reclaiming it. As you can see, it is just totally gone. The skin of the drivers' door has come off the door frame; the front bumper has literally rusted off the car; there are no floors at all, etc.

I consider myself very good at recognizing cars, but when I first saw it, I had no idea what it was. It took some internet searching and investigating to find out the make and model. It's a **blank** !

                              Anyone want to guess?
