As I said before, Shadetree and I are working on it. Don't know how often he goes out there, but I leave a note on the door, and make a phone call pretty much every week. I've talked to the guy's wife, who wants them gone. The guy's just playing hard to get.

At least the Bel Air is under shelter. It's actually a very solid car. Talked to the owner yesterday while I was taking pics. He's "going to fix it up". Never heard that before.

Your dime must be a few more decimal points to the right of mine.

That's the one I was going to, um, borrow and bring to OSX, then take Pat's back and put it on the car. Eventually, we will wear him down. Don't know about Shadetree, but I'm a persistent PITA when I want to be.

I hope someone also saves the flat top Buick, those are cool.

How does people abandon cars like that? It's not like Festiva's die that easily. Can't believe all of them did. Did they just tired of them.. shoot we drive our cars into ground in our family if not they get traded. One occasion my dad parked our rusted out 77 GMC PU in the field because of a dead battery. We managed to revive it a few years later though. And I guess his current 86 F150 5.0L is setting in the barn but it's pretty much shot. Put compared to those 2 trucks those cars are GEMS!

The only car that's truly worth saving there is the plymouth belvedere, and it looks like it needs quarter's, the 57 chevy is prob a 4 door, and the 60 buick is a four door. The trucks are cool but there are still a lot of those around. There's car farm's like this all over the country.

I have seen plenty of those types of cars , in 4 door style, that people have fixed up. The 2 doors may be more popular but they are still nice in the 4 door version, worth saving if the car is not 2 far gone.
