You really don't want those things, do you?? lol. Won't really go on the new one, but I'd take 'em back for Batstiva, when she's done. How much you want for them?

Finally got to hit the j/y today. The yard that was supposed to have 4, only had two. Snagged two interior sport door panels w/ map pockets, a Festiva steering wheel (Lane, the other one's yours) my missing driver's side door trim, and a near perfect antena mount, for a total of 25 bucks. Course, some idiot left the tool box in the Festiva, and not in the car that actually went to the yard, so I gotta go back tomorrow and get it. :banghead: Pics when everything is home. Made up a template of the Festiva's mirror mounting area, so I can experiment and see what other mirrors are close enough they can be made to work. We'll see.

Cleaned up my wiper arms today while I was waiting for the grass to dry. Got them all ready to paint and then, I can't believe I'm saying this, I didn't have any black spray paint. Anyway, here they are, rusty, and then ready to prime/paint

Spent a bit of time working on the door trim glue as well. Slowly, but surely. Before and After pics when it's finally done. Friggin' Rain. I'll be putting up the temp garage(10 x 20 canopy with all four sides) this week in preparation to paint. My guy says he can do the hockey sticks (he actually had already made some for his festivas before he got rid of them). They may end up a tad wider than stock ones, but I've seen the ones on his old stivas, and they're pretty darn close.

And here they are, painted, baked, and ready to go back on the car.

                Much better looking.

Nice job on the wipers. I might have to re-do mine, because it looks like they're starting to come off because of my poor paint job I did on them.

Thanks, I debated red to tie them in with the new stripes when I'm finished painting, but went with black.

I was amazed at how much new rust there was on them, considering I cleaned them Sunday, and painted them this afternoon. Had to re scuff and re sand before priming.

wow, these things must surface rust pretty easily. I went black with mine also, but might consider a different color, but not sure which one..

Well, I'm sure stripped of all paint, and out on the car in the rain didn't help. Debating on my rims next. If the guy I bought the car from would take his butt out to his shed and find my other two alloys, I'd go with them. Otherwise, I'll be doing something to spruce up the steelies. Just not sure what yet.

I just did what a lot of people on here do, painted my steelies black, with chrome lugs. I was thinking maybe seeing if I could get a cheap set of factory aluminums and painting them black.. I wonder how that would look..

I probably wouldn't paint the alloys, but definitely going to do something with the steelies. Still debating the color.
