  • [Update] Offroad festiva

Here are some more pics of the off road festiva. I personally think it is coming together rather nice. It just needs a motor.

That thing rocks. I love the cutouts in the hood.

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

The only Festiva I can see is the roof, the hood, and the grill!

Glad everybody is starting to think its "more" Festiva looking. I started with the frames and tires so I could get the right wheelbase, then worked to keep the roof as low as possible. The body panels are custom made and is actually the same body panel both left and right !! The amount of space inside is very limited, so I'm thinking 'bout doing a single seater to make more room for the engine(which I don't have yet).I'm leaning toward the ford 300 straight 6 cyl, but could also go with just about any v8.
            Thanks for the comments. Grizz

You don't want to be saying later, "I coulda had a V-8!"

Very very very cool. The best rock crawlers I've seen were powered by 4 cylinder toyotas. Rock crawling is a
slow motorsport so you only need gearing to get power. Having said that the 300 is a freaking beast. Tons of
torque and one of the few 300,000 mile ford motors. Keep up the good work. You are a hero to many here.
                        Good luck!
