  • I finally got pictures of Spank on here

Ok, so after being on here for a week or so, I figured I would share some pictures of my beast too. Like I have said, it's not pretty, but it gets me around at 50mpg or so. Let me know what you think, good or bad. I don't know how to add more than two pictures to this post, but if you click on my name, I think you can see my album.

I have had it for about 2 months now. I have put a new fuel pump, 4 new tires, 2 new cv axles, new front wheel bearings, O2 sensor, temp. gauge sensor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, Sony cd player, Sony rear 5X7 speakers, and some new seat belt tails from Festyxfi.

As for me I am a fat kid so the first thing I think of is Mc Donalds. No offense, my festy looked worse when I first got mine. It had red rims that stood out on a gray body. Now that I got it painted some A-hole scraped the paint job right by my tailight. I do have a question though. You stated you put in a aftermarket radio, did you have to get a radio mounting/trim kit? If so where did you get yours. Because mine sticks out a good two inches. Right now anyone can just pull my radio out.

Welcome to the site. With a little cleaner wax that red will shine back up. Photobucket is the easiest way to post pics.

My stereo also sticks out a little bit. I was able to bend the tabs on the cage out enough to hold it in nicely. There is still a small gap all the way around it that you can see the cage through, but it holds in there and works, so I'm not worried about it.

It looks like someone tried to shine up part of the hood, but did not finish the job. I was thinking about getting a cheap maaco paint job, but I don't know how good their work is. The paint will probably shine up, but "the flash" is not my style. I was thinking a dark blue.

When I first put my stereo in it stuck out but it was because of the wiring in the back of it was bunched up and wouldn't go in any further. Once I pulled the wiring back a lil bit and bent the tabs on the cage mine fit right in there like it was made for the car.

That looks pretty good Geneva. My uncle's maaco job didn't turn out so nice. It had overspray on everything.

It looks pretty nice Geneva. So one good opinion, one bad one. As you can see in my pictures, I have a little rust and some dents and dings. Do they do body work too, or just paint? Also, I was told they don't even open the hood or doors when they paint. Is this true?
