I dont think that the clear would have anything to hold on to!! Too slick of a surface. Would be nice

I clear coated the back side of the chrome Saleen rims on my Mustang to keep the break dust from eating them up. It held on good for a couple of years :mrgreen:

I picked this car up alittle over a year ago and I just decided to see if anyone one know anything about the history. Now the reason Im curious is that since I found this website I have noticed things on the car that are not stock. Just wondering if someone knew this guy, if he's on the forum, or did some one own it befor him!! Here are a few KEY POINTS that it had when I bought it.....1. it was Shwinn bike "bannana seat blue" just like the pic
2.It seemed that the car was originally white, then silver then the blue.
3.It had a antenna installed on the pass side of the hood........dont ask!
4.Antenna delete
5.Home made side skirts. I dont know the original donor car.
6.Protege side mirrors.
7.Honda civic rear wing
8. Oh and my favorite.....It only had ft brakes. Everything was new in the rear but the brake lines were not connected and the ft brakes were metal to metal.
8. I bought it in St.Charles Ill by a guy, I think his name was Adam.
Im just wondering if he's on the forum or if anyone knows some history.

i think i remeber seeing something like that on craigslist, freshpaint but the rear brakes didnt work. hey you coming over for the festi build party?(its not really a party,just a way for me to get some free labor in return for pizza and beer?) feel a cold coming down?
