I picked up my first AMC the other day for $595. It's a one-owner 1982 Concord DL 258 auto with more options than I though existed back then. Suprisingly all the power options still work. It has 227k, but it runs alright and it's pretty solid. The car could use some work and has a weird smell to it, but if I keep it for a while hopefully I'll track down a lower mileage motor and tranny, and perhaps a Jeep 4.0 HO head to swap on. Supposedly the head swap adds about 40 hp and 15-18% increase in fuel economy. Definitely worth it! Oh, and if I ever sell this car I'm keeping the wheels. Now if I can just fix my drivers door so I don't have to get in from the passenger side, I'm all set.
