Yup that's whats gonna be going into my FG GTX hood... I was crushed when I found I had to use hood pins because I thought they would be like the damn rice-rocket pins I see on all the hondas... but those aerocatch can be paint matched to be almost invisible

looks nice, the wave in the cf weave is too distracting though, hope it looks better in person.

carbon fiber hood lock pins pictures

perucho it weighs 13 lbs.the bottom does not look like the top.
conor, i bought the carbon fiber hood lock pins at pep boys. they will be installed by monday.
amos, the only draw back of the hood latch is no locking. the pins have locks on them.
resuwrecked, i dont think the carbon fiber is distracting at all, i think it is beautiful.

            I beg to differ!

However I'm gonna get the non-locking ones... I'll only ever have a B6 on there (don't plan on going turbo any time in the foreseeable future) so I don't think anyone would want to steal anything out from under my hood.

I wouldn't be worried about someone stealing something as much as I would about someone being able to just open my hood or mess around and unlatch them. Then start driving down the road and have the hood open.

You may think you would notice but there are moments you overlook it and.....FLIP!!

If you look at his photo bucket pics....in regular light the hood looks perfect...I think it is a flash or something throwing a weird light in that pic.

Carbon fiber ( gloss finish) never turns up very well in most amature picture taking attemps.
What may look great in person tends to look like crap when you try to post it in a forum.
