Hey Sasquatch! I have a BP and ECM from a Escort GT! Let me now if you are interested?
Aspires and Sways all around, Miata B6 installed, KYB G2Rs just installed in front. Wish for coil overs someday.

Looks like you are off to a good start.
Personally, I think you should box up those 323 GT wheels and send them off to WV.:p

If you can get enough lift out of it a set of all terrain tires from/for a 2wd ranger might fit with the right wheels. they are the smallest AT tires you can get that I know of (except the 195/75r14 for the GMC/Grumman Right-hand drive Mail vans, which BFG custom makes the allterrain TA for, for Canada Post/USPS because some of these things drive on some ugly roads), they used a few different sizes and all the 2wd ones in the early '90s ran 14s.
edit: sasquatch, I sent you a PM but I'm not sure if it sent properly. Can you let me know? Thanks.

I imagine you'd only need an ATV winch which would be cheap as borscht.

I had WAY too much fun with mine while it lasted. Took it through several 4x4 trails. Nothing like passing a 40,000 dollar lifted jeep on a nasty rock filled trail.

It used aspire struts, Spindles and brakes. it also had the aspire rear trailing arm, and aspire tires/wheels. I think the lift was 3-4" total. Made it almost unstoppable too.

It failed CA smog, It was sold off and god knows where its at now.

1995 5 speed aspire. Gutted for the 90' auto.

I wanted more lights too. and more lift. but if I recall there was not much travel left on the c-v axles or the rack. I thought about taking the aspire struts, then getting the little adjustable coilover sleeves and tossing ontop of the aspire spring and crank out what lift that I'd need for that particular course.

I have a feeling that regardless of any fitment issues, sasquatch will make a 10" lift for his minibeast.

Sas, have you considered merging said BogFesty with a Tracker? (I think it was the Tracker, but if not, someone will correct me lol. I remember something about much larger interchangeable parts or something along those lines.)

i just thought of somthing... the axles in the escort gt are to long right... once you stick a lift on a car you need to make the axles longer so they dont fall out of the trans... EGT axles in a festiva with a 10" lift now the only thing is gonna be the rear...

                                BRILLIANT!

I'd like to see it with the big honkin double shock setups like you see on massive off road vehicles, but just scaled down a bit.
