There has been a lot of rain where I live, too, and my front yard almost looked like that this morning!

^^ Heh, yeah, already not liking what I'm hearing about this weekend. Snow Fri and Sat. Just not sure how much yet. Oh well, spring will be here, not soon enough.

The water really came up in the past few days here also. I hope you have a bridge left when it's all said and done. Temps are supposed to drop like a rock this week. Didn't we do this ice thing somewhere before?

The fun bridge today. After 3+ inches of rain, and the last of all the snow going away. Guess there's still a bridge down there somewhere. I passed on driving the Festy across it this time.

And here we go again..... I will be using the box scaper and end loader for a few days it looks like. Looks like we will have about 7 or 8 inches on top of the ice here.
Yes, I remember the two storms that dumped 2 feet each time. A 1965 buick Skylark doesn't go so well in that much snow, and the floods and power outage for 7 days didn't help either. We here without heat, water etc. It worries me that this winter could be a replay.Last edited by m715; 01-08-2010, 08:24 AM.

it was nearly that bad here in Baltimore, too. But, we only got 2 feet...Originally posted by batstiva View PostThat would be Jan. 96. 3 feet of snow in my yard one day, 3 feet of river in my yard the next day.
The morning of the flood, at 8 am, it was 80 degrees and thunderstorming, at 3 pm, it was snowing and sticking. Temp dropped about 60-65 degrees in less than 8 hours.
